The car was stripped down and the body work begun. The car was in fairly good condition for a 1952 vehicle prior to this work, but they needed to take care of the dings, dents, waves etc.

The car was restored over a 6 year period.

The original owner started a restoration process by having the engine, transmission and running gear restored.

Next he had a body-on professional restoration done as you can see in the photos. At that stage the interior was done with cloth (see photo at bottom) but some other areas were not completed.

I then bought the car 5 years ago and completed the restoration by lining the interior of the trunk, professionally reupholstering the seats in a beautiful period vinyl, and adding brand new       Coker Whitewall tires. I also added an electric fuel pump, fuel filter, new large battery and other small jobs. We have also recently freshened up the engine bay .

However the work is not quite complete. Despite the radio having been previously restored it is now not going, as is the clock.
